This is perhaps one of the best RC fixed pitch helicopters to practice with and learn to fly. Perfect for indoor use in a basement during the winter or outdoor back yard use on days with little wind. This is an easy to fly, gyro-stabilized helicopter which includes the transmitter, charger, helicopter battery, and spare rotor blades in an All-In-One RTF ("Ready To Fly") package. The simplified layout is easy to repair and Motion RC carries a full range of spare parts at an affordable price.

This small, yet feature rich, micro helicopter is fun and easy to fly. The C129 comes with both blue and orange canopies, allowing you to fly the color you want. The included 2.4GHz transmitter can be used in Mode 1 or Mode 2, giving you complete control over how you want to fly. The 6-axis gyro and flybarless system grants stability not often found in helicopters of this size.

The C129 Firefox is extremely beginner friendly. At any time, if you are out of control, simply remove your hands from both sticks on the radio and it will stop and hold hover. The C129 will also hold altitude any time you release the stick that controls altitude. IF needed, you can also use the One Touch Takeoff - with just a single press of a button the helicopter will take off to an altitude of about 3 feet. While the throttle stick is neutral the helicopter will hold any height, via a barometric sensor. Pressing and holding the altitude button for 3 seconds will initiate the emergency stop function and instantly halt the motor. Landing normally is extremely easy as well. This is the perfect heli to learn to fly. This heli will teach you to coordinate rudder and aileron sticks in order to properly turn. We have not found a better heli for learning.

Being flybarless increases flight time and, in the event of a crash, reduces the risk of damage. The included modular battery is quick and easy to install, giving a duration of up to 15 minutes, and charges quickly with the supplied USB charger.

RTF - "Ready To Fly"

Perfect for new pilots, the RotorScale C129 includes everything in the box to begin flying in minutes, except for four AA batteries. Basic spares are included in the box, such as main and tail blade sets, and Motion RC also stocks a complete line of spare parts to keep you flying.

Gyro-Stabilized

The integrated gyro system stabilizes the C129 helicopter in six axes. This system arrives fully configured from the factory and requires zero setup by the pilot, and enables special features like "One Touch Takeoff".

Everyday Flyer

At 268mm (10.5") in fuselage length with a 249mm (9.8") main rotor diameter, the Firefox is a 120 Class size helicopter that is perfectly sized for everyday flying. Economical and with low-mass, the C129 is a great starting point for new helicopter pilots. Large enough to be flow outdoors in mild wind, the bright fuselages make it easy to see and orient.

Precision Servo and Motor

The 2g digital servo offers precise control and high torque. This, in turn, helps prevent accidental damage and extends the life of the helicopter. The 8520 coreless motor resists demagnetization and temperatures up to 150°C.

Durable Materials

Specific blends of materials are used to create different parts for different purposes. For example, the landing gear is made of a nylon blend to resist rough landings. The fuselage is made of a blister material to protect against impact, and the tail boom is made of a rigid carbon tube to stabilize the tail motor throughout all maneuvers.
